Ingredients
- Rice 2 cups
- Grated fresh coconut ½ cup
- Red chillies 3
- Curry leaves few
- Urad dal 1 tbspn
- Chana dal 1 tbspn
- Oil ½ cup
- Water 4 cups
- Salt 1 tbspn
Method
- Boil rice with water in cooker.
- Spread the boiled rice on a plate and allow it to cool thoroughly. Add salt & grated coconut to it.
- Heat the pan, add Urad dal, chana dal, curry leaves & Red chillies to it.
- Add the cooked rice and keep stirring for about 7 to 10 mins.
- Serve coconut rice with potato or brinjal sabji.
