Mushroom Pulao recipe


Ingredients
  • Rice 2 cups
  • Water 4 cups
  • Mushroom 100gm
  • Clove/Lavang 2 or 3
  • Cinnamon a small stick
  • Cardamom
  • Onion 1
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Ginger & garlic paste 1 tbspn
  • Turmeric powder
  • Red chillie powder 1 tbspn
  • Coriander powder 1 tbspn
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Pudina/mint leaves ½ cup (Optional)
  • Salt
Method
  • Heat the cooker and add oil.
  • Add chopped onion, ginger & garlic paste, crushed cardamom, cloves & cinnamon.
  • Stir well until turned brown.
  • Add chopped tomatoes, mint leaves and turmeric powder.
  • Add chopped mushroom and stir well.
  • Add water, red chillie powder, coriander powder and salt to taste.
  • Add washed rice to it and cook it for 7 to 10 mins.
  • Mushroom puloa is ready to serve.
