Ingredients
- Rice 2 cups
- Water 4 cups
- Mushroom 100gm
- Clove/Lavang 2 or 3
- Cinnamon a small stick
- Cardamom
- Onion 1
- Tomatoes 2
- Ginger & garlic paste 1 tbspn
- Turmeric powder
- Red chillie powder 1 tbspn
- Coriander powder 1 tbspn
- Oil 1 cup
- Pudina/mint leaves ½ cup (Optional)
- Salt
Method
- Heat the cooker and add oil.
- Add chopped onion, ginger & garlic paste, crushed cardamom, cloves & cinnamon.
- Stir well until turned brown.
- Add chopped tomatoes, mint leaves and turmeric powder.
- Add chopped mushroom and stir well.
- Add water, red chillie powder, coriander powder and salt to taste.
- Add washed rice to it and cook it for 7 to 10 mins.
- Mushroom puloa is ready to serve.
